It’s Very Good.

Now is the time to align our goals with God’s goals. His work and His glory—“to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man”—can become ours. Of temple marriage the Savior declared, “If a man marry a wife by my word, which is my law, and by the new and everlasting covenant, … [they] shall inherit thrones, kingdoms, principalities, and powers, dominions, … exaltation and glory in all things.” We are to emulate the example of the Lord, to love as He did, to pray as He did, and to endure to the end as He did." - President Russel M. Nelson
After each day of said creation, the Obedient Son of God showed His Father what He'd done. He was met with a beautiful, consistent, and honest, "It was good."
But after a seventh day of rest and a time to observe all that'd been accomplished, we read in the genesis of Genesis:
"And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." (Genesis 1:31)
This day of rest brought more than physical relief from the work of creation.
Rest, real rest, provided opportunity for Christ to know His Father's feelings about Him and the good work He'd done for Him.
Sunday naps are a must. Slowing down is important. But perhaps in addition to physical relief, real rest is our ability to know and be comfortable in the presence of our Father.
Christ rested on the seventh day because the six days prior were spent serving His Father.
Real rest is preparing now to enter the Glory of God, and feel at home there.
And that, will be very good.
